Callout Incidents Notes.
A callout is recorded where one or more search dog teams have been responded to a request from the Police or Rescue Team Search Manager to attend an incident to look for a suspected missing person.
The search to find ratio is low due to various factors as follows:-
1. On occasions there may not be a missing person to find (they have gone on holiday etc).
2. The person is found by someone other than the search dog team (we do not count this as one of our finds).
3. The person is not within the area desigated to be searched by the search dog team.
