Request for dogs to assist in search for someone calling for help. No find.
Reports of cries for help by several different reporters in very steep ,heavily vegetated woodland. Police tasked Calder Valley to clear woods.
Nothing found ,suspect hoax by local children.
Assistance requested by CVSRT for dogs to search woodland close to Heptonstall village after reports had been made to West Yorkshire police by members of the public that cries for help had been heard. After an extensive search and nothing having been found CVSRT and the dog teams were stood down.
1 x vulnerable male of interest to SYP. Key areas searched with support from police. Search stood down as it was believed the individual was on foot and evading our efforts. Individual was picked up in Sheffield a few days later.
Edale MRT had been contacted by Derbyshire Constabulary to assist with the search for a vulnerable missing person in the Castleton area.
All high risk areas were searched and with nothing found the teams and dogs were stood down.
Called out by Glossop MRT to assist with search for three lost walkers believed to be somewhere on the western side of Bleaklow moor. As arrived at Glossop HQ additional information came through placing walkers close to the Doctors Gate track where they were susequently spotted and met by a Glossop foot section coming down from Dowstone Clough.
Tasked to search step woodland area search was not fully completed due to terrain being to thick to make any progress and for the safety of handler and navigator
